Here we will provide you with a list of events that are on throughout the year so you can see what's on and what suits you and your interests so that you are able to have the best trip and your time off is well spent! Firstly we will list the annual seasonal events as well as the extra's Kent can offer you;

  • Relic! this is your chance to join in the quest at Canterbury museum. This event is one that has been taken from the CBBC programme Relic!, it gives you chance to explore the galleries, during your trip round them you will be given a number of different clues from your tour guide. At the end of your tour and quest you will all be awarded with a certificate and a prize. This event is a great one for children as its educational and fun, children just need to be over 5 years old. The event is run from the 1st May until the 31st December.

  • Festive Victorian fun and games this takes place as Chiddingstone castle, this family day transports visitors back to the Victorian era. This event is done during the Christmas period and it lets you experience the Christmas period during the Victoria era which was particularly important in influencing how we celebrate Christmas today. Throughout the day you are able to go round a number of different activities from arts and crafts through to traditional Victorian games and a story of how Santa Claus became popular. This event is ran from the 5th November.

  • Murder Mystery - held at Eastwell Manor where you will fall in love with its log fires, luxury bedrooms and fantastic gardens. During your stay you are able to enjoy the spa in the day and then be transported back to 1995 to try your hand being a detective and trying to solve the murder! This event is held on the 13 and 14th of November.
